Every once in a blue moon you'll someone selling a cheap handmade tubular exhaust on ebay for a CT-26, but I wouldn't trust it. Contact Greg at suprasport.com, he's suppost to be making an exhaust manifold out of the same process he makes his turbo elbows, a few months ago when I talked to him about he said that he'd eventually finish it off, but it was going to be about another 6 months... Maybe if a group of us expressed our interest in his manifold (I know for a fact that his work is the shit) he would speed it up and complete it and maybe do a group buy on it.

In reality isn't the stock Mani good enough to push even a upgraded CT26 to the limit?

I have a hard time seeing how this can worth the money really.

Yes, People put down big numbers with the Boss, JT, and other bolt on turbo's. Porting it though would be ideal for 400+ imo.

IIRC MK3Brent pushed WELL over the 450 mark on stock manifold with a boss turbo.

I think others have hit 500's with the stock manifold. Ported obviously.

so I think the question becomes is there any reason to upgrade the manifold if all you are going to run is a CT26?

and I think that answer would be: NO unless you wanted to get every bit of HP you could from a CT26.

The only reason I would get a better manifold is if I was running a BOSS turbo or something similar that way I can make sure the turbo is getting the most exhaust gasses as fast, straight, and even as possible (which I do plan on using a BOSS turbo after break in ;)).

I wouldn't bother with any kind of upgraded manifold wile still using the CT-26. The tiny turbine housing is going to be your bottleneck anyway. Just a waste of time, effort and money IMO for very little gain.

Go out, buy a dremel, or cheap alternative, gasket match the runners, and gasket match the turbo flange area of the mani, done.

DO NOT gasket match the runners on a stock intake manifold.
