Racing dumb cars you know you can beat is worthless, I mean come on a 4 CYLINDER COROLLA! 1) nobody cares its a corolla 2) im sure just went from street light 2 street light giving real racers a bad name when you get caught. Just because people talk shit doesn't mean you have to "show off". If you want to prove them wrong, go to the track where you won't hurt anyone else and you can gain experience, I don't trust any high schooler that doesn't know what a turbo does to be racing on the street. Please stop giving real racers bad names.

i love how the new guys get the trash for racing on the street like its the most dangerous thing in the world. but then when someone such as yourself or someone with more of a rep races on the street theres always an excuse like, oh it was an open road, or some shit about bieng "safe". Maybe he should have went to the track and spent money to prove his 16.5 second car is faster then a 17 second corolla? comeon man. :3d_frown:

Real racers a bad name? define a "real racer". someone who trailers there car to the track and runs for a time slip? thats not racing, its testing. racing someone at the track is pointless, you dont race them you race the clock. dont even try to tell me you never or wont ever race someone on the street.

I don't really care if he's street racing or not. It happens. If he wants to race, he assumes all risks and possible consequences. We're not his parents.

I don't care how long he's been here. If any of the longer members came on here and said they raced some guy in his mom's civic on lunch break 'cause they talked shit about their car at school, I'd make fun of them just the same.

What I thought was dumb was this guy racing some other guys because they talked bad about his car at school. Then he says "let's settle this at lunch" or whatever? gay... :stickpoke

Not to mention the cars mentioned aren't even remotely quick anyway. A corolla? A 4cyl auto mustang? A 2.5 Impreza? Way to go. :ugh2: Do any of those cars make over 150whp? I think my mom's Honda Pilot could dispose of those without breaking a sweat.

That sounds like an interesting mix. I bet Hawaiian/black girls are pretty:naughty:

Don't know why your friend would call you a fob though... Not like you were born in a foreign country and lived there most of your life, right?

its just anoing to see new people get raged on for stuff thats cool when guys with a good rep do it.

i find it really anoing because the nearest track is 2.5 hours away so its not like a weekend thing around here. were not going to go drive 2.5 hours to race A 13 second race. we go to the track to test, tune and see what the cars capable of, but what happens at the track is pretty much irrelevant on the street. traction, reaction time and driver error are what make street racing fun.

Yes I like racing on the street that is why I am trying to save it before the penaties get too ridiculous.

"Real racers" are people that know their car and know their limits, I can assume from this post he is new to cars and it impressed with his n/s (no offense). The more people we have that are smarter about racing on the street the less attention street racing will have. The penalties are already way past ridiculous, in Tampa they impound your car for 10 days for the 1st time caught SR!!! And cops don't fight real crime while SR is a bigger penalty than beating your wife or many other harmful crimes.

And I suggest going to the track (drag or autoX) to learn your car get to know it and keep himself/others from being harmed and from more attention to dangerous acts on the street.

And I don't care how slow your car is, something can always be done with it.

heh, think u got it rough on penalties, 10 day impound? in NY its CONFISCATION of your vehicle. thats right, its then auctioned off and the money goes into the states pocket. :evil5:

defiantly agree on people bieng smart about street racing and decreasing the level of attention we get. the less attention street racers get, the more leniency there will be.

Ha... I remember high school days... however I had an auto civic 97 and never told someone I could beat them... I just threatened them with the car I was getting 93 Probe GT:nuts:

But then once I got my maxima, I just looked back at our top shot cars...

00 Civic Si

01? Sentra Spec V SE-R...

Now I laugh... really loudly.. ahhh... the highschool "moms hand me down" races... someday you will wish to delete this post, I however did once beat a Corolla S in my Civic :-D... haaaaa I remember that day... he said I was the craziest person he had ever met (a kid from school on the way to school), as I swerved in between a car and gained the lead... ah how stupid I was... or still am?

meh, highschool racers. They just don't know that teh soupra can't lose :D. It was kinda fun having the fastest car in the school. I was told that I replaced a built Z31 as the man to be feared (F34R3D?). For some reason, dumbasses in trucks wanted to race me more than anyone else (even the ricers stayed away for the most part  )

Um... except for that guy about 8 minutes down the road, packing a PT67 into his Supra. I'll be happy to claim fastest car in the county :naughty:

We'll have to get Jake's ass in gear, and meet up with Justin @ G'ville Raceway, and settle this little rivalry once and for all :evil2:

Ha you think I'm gonna stick with the 62-1 forever, and I kinda meant in High Schools. And having 3 of the fastest MKIII Supra's in Gainesville....RAW!
