I want to make the stock foglights in my jeep yellow lol. Ive seen the JDM supra yellow cap things on here before being sold for a fortune.

Is there anything similar to those sold else where? I need them for a normal 55w 12v halogen bulb. Id rather not replace the stock housing or try to use a lens cover. The bulb cap thing would be perfect for what I want, if only I can find them....

Oh, I want them for actual fog not to make my jeep JDM tyte.

Yellow Lamin-X works great, even though it's not exactly what you're looking for.

i would opt for this method as well

in the ls400 they have a yellow glass 'bulb' type thing over the bulb itself inside the housing i thought that was a neat idea

Ive seen the Film that is ment to go over the outside lens, is that what the laminex stuff is? Would the heat from the bulb melt it lol, The caps seem to be thick glass or plastic. Id be worried a thin layer of film would melt on the bulb...

Ive seen people use glass stain on the lens cover, maybe use that on the bulb or would that cause heat issues too?

DON'T PAINT THE BULB

paint the lense

Ya it looks like thats going to be the best bet since I cant find the dam lil caps lol. Im worried though one of my lenses is cracked, If I paint it the paint might leak through. Its sealed so I cant seperate the lens to paint it. Also being on my jeep its going to get hit with rocks and junk. I dont think the paint will last long before chipping off. The light coming out will be horrible if half the yellow chips off.

I swear, they sound like the builds that are in our fog lights, you can get the yellow bulbs all over ebay...

I worry about ebay quality lol, prolly some cheap bulb with glass paint on it. Theres got to be a reason places like napa dont sell the yellow bulbs but ebay is full of them.

Oh well, Im going to just paint the outer lens and be done with it.

You can always get gold HID lights in that color, that's if you want to spend a little bit.

Ya I was trying to keep the stock housing, bulbs and wiring. If I upgrade the wire and add new housing I can do anything no problem lol. I dont need More light, just wanted yellow fog lights.

I think that you are talking about a 3000K HID kit. That would probably be his best bet if he wants to spend the money. They are cheap these days though.
