MAJOR PROBLEM !!!???

so i just went to mount my engine to a stand, and I noticed one of the tranny bolt holes has a chunck broken off. Is this a major problem? Can this be fixed or is the block toast?

Make sure there are no other cracks, you don't want this to happen

If you can still thread a bolt in there, I wouldn't worry about it that much. What's your HP goals? I can only see it being a problem if you're shooting BIG HP.

i can get the bolt all the way through very easily. The piece that broke off only is the left side of two threads. I'm going to get the block machined next week. I'll have it checked. I'm shooting for at least 400 hp......

dont look real serious run a tap threw it.. Rule of thumb a bolt needs to screw in 1 and 1/2 times its thickness.. as say a 1/2 bolt needs to screw 3/4 of a inch

shouldn't be a huge issue, the safety factor on the transmissions are very high, and this has been proven
