Thanks for the clarification IJ, The Castrol stuff is good, I use the black tube available at Napa auto parts, its moly based assembly lube and only costs 5.00 for a tube that lasts a year

Edit its CRC Moly assembly lube

I didn't pay for any o the parts individually... I bought the already built motor, and am rebuildin it... So I never got directions for anythin... Lol

Id email arp then and buy the moly lube and torque it to there spec to which moly lube your using. Thats just me tho. There moly lube is good stuff as well.

ARP moly lube is good, we have always used the CRC though, Just call ARP and ask them for the torque specs for the main studs and rod bolts. They will be able to provide it to you, You will get a better torque spec than with gear oil.
