Hello , atm im building 1.5 JZ . Im using 2jz ge block, rods and camshafts. In this case i have to choose some pistons , im thinikg about Mahle pistons cuz i heared that clearance ( dont know if i say it right ) is just like in stock pistons ( beacause of used material to manufacture them ) not like most of forged pistons ( clearance about 0.08 mm ) But i still didnt find exact numbers and im not sure about it, what is the alternative for mahle pistons , and can somoene give me an adress to some shop with 2jzgte pistons?

If you're going to use the ge rods you'd be better off with gte pistons or upgrading to forged rods and pistons. as far as the mahle pistons clearances, well i cant help ya there

I know about difference but its only between VVTI and non vvti , im using non VVTI ge block so there wont by any problem in rods since they forged . Any clues what pistons should i choose?

I would go with the stock 2jzgte pistons. The rods are the weak link so no point in getting something stronger than stock if you're not going to upgrade those.

Depends. Do you have a VVT-i block? If so, you've got smaller rods than the non-VVT-i & GTE blocks.

Jeff

yea i know.i said upgrade to gte PISTONS if he is going to stick with the ge rods.
