FINALLY!!! Shes in and driving around. It actually drives alot smoother then before. The only thing Is it was FASTER before i put it in. I know i know i isnt just plug(solder) and play or at least for the most part. But i also no that with the maft pro it has poteniall to be at least a little faster then before.

Im running on stock turbo and injectors. But i have the following below performance wise.

-3" exhaust
-intake
-spearco intercooler
-2.5" pipes
- O and NGK plugs wires i picked up today for 20 bucks from junk yard. Brand new.. he he havnt put those in yet
- Others but wont help horspower wise

Before i was pushing around 13 psi. Then i took the stupid shims off the wastegate that the previous owner put on and went back to stock. Now even after the maft pro its still stock. I cant figure out how to turn the boost up at least a couple pounds and thought maybe someone with your knowledge can tell me what changes to make from my setting below or give some little tips.

P.S. i will get a log up but prob not till next week. I have to get a com to serial adapter for my Mpro cause i have no laptop..

ok cool get try and get that log going for you guys tomorrow. Um yea but maybe you can answer this one question before tomorrow then. So i need a boost controller. I thougt that the maft pro can be used as a boost controller. I bought the maft pro kit that comes with the boost controller so now im a little confused. I figured it would be no issue turning the boost up over at least 8 psi. SO how do i do????

so long as you bought the solenoid and harness yes you can use the mpro as a boost controller.

its pretty tricky to get it set tho. what i would do is just run stock boost and get the car running well. then start playing w/ the boost controller feature.

UUUUGGGGGG!!!!

This is so freakin frustrating ive been trying to log my traslator all morning and cant get nothing. Ive looked around and found a couple posts on getting the tuner pro to read the maft pro but nothing. Any one got any good base setting for the maft pro to push 12-13 psi with stock turbo and injectors.....

Logging with TunerPro is a little bit complex, but it's not impossible. :)

Can you connect to the MAFT pro? What kind of cable and port are you using?

If you can connect, you need to press F4 to open the setup screen and specify a log file... then you can record by clicking the red button on the toolbar.

Im not even sure if im connected to the maft pro. I dont see anything on my PC Thats saying there connected.

Do i maybe have to shut my pc off, plug the Mpro in, turn it on, then turn my pc on?

I have a computer in my garage along with my car so im just using the cable that came with it.

Turn on order doesn't matter.

Make sure you have everything plugged in, your computer is fired up, and TunerPro is running. Then press F4 to bring up the ALDL setup screen, browse for the .ADS file from the Definition File section, and select / create a logfile for recording and playback.

When this is done, close this dialog and click the button that has 2 blue arrows on it - the top one going left, the bottom one going right.

Click the toolbar button that says M on it and a screen with several graphs should be displayed - titled ALDL monitors.

Start the car and see if these monitors track readings on your car in realtime. If they do, you are set to go - if they don't, post up again and we'll try to help you out.

you record the log. then you name it and save to where you want. once you have the file you upload it here. if you dont know where you saved it just search the harddrive for *.adl and it will find it.
