maft pro mounting location

i have a maft pro on its way to my house

and i have been sitting in my car everyday for a week trying to figure out where to mount the dang thing (the slot below my cd player is taken...i made a panel of switches)

so i wanna know how you guys have mounted them and what looks/works the best for you
(or if anyone has hooked theirs up to a different screen)

I would just tuck it in the glove box. Its not really a gauge anyways.

Mine is going in my glove box. I will have enough wire so it'll reach at least the center console for quick adjustments.

+1 that is how i have mine. Velcro in the glovebox so i can pull it out if i need to.

Gravity mounted in the glovebox.

Ditto - in the glove box... Once you are tuned, should not need to pull it out very often...

Well, I mounted mine in the extra slot above the radio, so I pull it out when driving. But you just *had* to put switches there...

haha yup i had been thinking about relocating my heater controls to above the glove box and putting the maft pro where it was but not sure how that woulda worked

Had mine in the glove box. It's not like it's pretty or anything so no big deal.

my electric fan and a empty switch lol guess i could move that to the cruse control switch ...

i remove my ashtray and TEMS switches on the console and then proceeded to cut the console and rest the MAFT-pro in there. You can kind of see it in this pic...

More seriously, it's going to sit in the glovebox with enough slack in the wires to pull out and adjust if necessary.

i like that thought but i would worry about a passenger getting their foot caught and pulling the guts out of my dash lol:icon_bigg

but on a serious note why does everyone put it in their Glove box.... maybe a question i will answer myself once i start messing with it......
