hey guys so i started adjusting my ebc and i noticed that i am hitting FC at around 14psi. I have it disabled on the maf translator but the car still has a fc. anyone know whats up with it? it could also be my ebc which is a profec b... i noticed that if i turn the adjustment just a tad i overboost... so i gotta mess with some settings. But my main problem is why is there FC when i disabled it

Are you using the MAFT-Pro? If so, I'm sure others are going to ask you to post up your settings for it. Not too sure on the profec b part, never messed with those. What are some of your other mods? Sorry this isn't too much help, I just don't like seeing help needed threads have 0 replies :/.

i did tuning with the wot switch when i had a WB in the car. it was tuned at 10psi. I just found my old post when i tuned it:

aux = c
base = 2
idle = 1
mid = 3
wot = E (11.6 a/f)

My setup is a maft in blowthrough.

hope that helps. the WB was taken out of my car since it belonged to my friend.

BTW i do not have any other tuning equipment in my car other than the maft. Mods that might be helpful are a driftmotion spearco IC, 2.5" hard pipes, stock ct-26, 3" full exhaust including elbow and and DP. Timing is at 10 degrees. Keep in mind my car is a NA-T with GTE electronics

also perhaps someone can help me with this about the profec b. Is your balance setting more on the mild side or the sharp side. The manual says turn the knob toward the sharp side if i experience over boosting, but my friend sujjested moving toward the mild side which i have no yet tried. thanks

eh, time to check your intake tract for leaks....

where is the MAF located?

why did you tune to 10 psi and now are running 14 psi w/o a WB? sounds like a recipe for disaster....

maf is located in front of the tb. i am running stock boost right now, but when i adjusted my ebc i noticed it hitting at 14psi then fc, i don't plan on running 14psi tho, just trying to get back to my 10psi. and since i know i turned fc off i was jw why was it even there... i mean its great that it is there for now i guess lol.. but its supposedly turned off
