Maybe my searching sucks but I am going to fire this question out there in hope for your input. What is needed (Electronics, hardware) so I don’t have to use a Mass air flow (MAF) sensor. I hate hitting fuel cut.

Did you read that entire thread I posted? I believe it mentioned the emanage....if not search "greddy emanage" or "eliminating fuel cut". The reason I say this is because Ive not worked with the emanage, so try searching and see what it brings up.

Also, check the piggybacks section in the forum, theres some good info in there.

I think you need to do a little more research around the FAQ/tech threads on this topic. Even if you swap out the AFM for a MAP setup, fuel cut will be exactly the same.

if you are asking about elimating the maf you dont need an e-manage. you need to read the faq and then decide what your goals are and then decide if the vpc, maft-pro, or some other option best suits your needs.

Thank you that is what i was looking for. I Appreciate your answer, just what i was looking for "a simple answer".

Now if you would answer this. I dont want to run 2 or 3 differnt computers, just 1 that will do most everything, Will the e-manage work for no more afm, adjust fuel, and othee fun sh**. well hell i can sum it up. will e-manage put the safc to shame and still eliminate the afm?:1zhelp: :1zhelp:

I was looking into this also. I think i will be going maft-pro

With add ons you can run speed density to get rid of the afm, get rid of the need for an s-afc or other air fuel computer because it can do that also, and it has an option for a electronic boost controller too
The only thing I dont like about it, and yes this is a superficial complaint is that it doesnt have a cool/flashy/graphic screen or display.

E-Manage Ultimate will eliminate the AFM but it has not really been tested on the 7M. If you want to eliminate it your best bet is to go with the MAFT-Pro because many people on this forum are using it with success.

i would go for the maftpro with speed density. i just installed mine and im loving it. they sell optional kits for boost control and wideband tracking (which is vital to tuning). it comes with a handheld display or you can directly hook it up to your laptop to make adjustments. and its a whole lot less than most standalones

I second that a better display would be sweet. :evil2: It looks like it out of the 80's of something. :nono:
