Sounds like you got the right idea!! I work in admissions at a college. Going back to school is a big commitment and it will change your life for the better. If you need some info on careers, money, or placement rates let me know I help people everyday decide what to do with their lives.
Good luck

Now that is a genuine offer. I kept waiting for the punch line or the sarcasm to kick in, but it never did. I was sort of shocked and amazed. +1 for da89soup.

For the record I love sarcasm..................:biglaugh:

Good move! The ONLY way to make it though school and get anything out of it is when you do it for yourself. It's just too much to take on if you're doing it for somebody else, and most people do it for their parents up to a point. Case in point: 2nd year of college when I was there only for them - 1.27 GPA and immediately on probation with a hangover. When I actually wanted to be there and was paying my own way though - cummulative GPA at graduation 3.85.

Whatever left you not caring before, it sounds like you want to make an improvement for yourself = Gauranteed success! Make sure you pick something you have a passion for, and it will really pay off.

Lemme tell ya, I went to college for a year and if you want a desk job, go to college. But if you want to work for a living I suggest Wyotech. I'm a student at the Blairsville Wyotech campus and I love the school and the help they give you in finding a job. What ever you decide it's great to see that you decided to go back to school.

Quit my night shift warehouse job ... went to my local technical college and got some info on programs they offer. I never graduated HS because of skipping classes ect ect, so now I think I'm going to get my GED , and sign up for one of these programs. It will put my Supra on hold, I got bills to pay so I'm probably gonna have to get a part time job... but I think in the long run this will benfit me... and in the end speed up my Supra project... feedback ?
i'm doing basically the same thing right now, just started 3 weeks ago, small tech school in Va beach, I love it. Simply put, and i'm still working on the supra while i'm here :D
