Made a big decision

Quit my night shift warehouse job ... went to my local technical college and got some info on programs they offer. I never graduated HS because of skipping classes ect ect, so now I think I'm going to get my GED , and sign up for one of these programs. It will put my Supra on hold, I got bills to pay so I'm probably gonna have to get a part time job... but I think in the long run this will benfit me... and in the end speed up my Supra project... feedback ?

I already took the pre-test 2 years ago and passed, just never took the final test. I think I have to take the pre-test over after 1 year though.

That is a smart decision.

Let's be honest: whether we find school boring or not, that fact is that if we have a high school diploma/GED it will benefit us greatly. We need it to be competitive in today's world and it will get us to a better living standard.

After you get your GED, are you going to pursue some type of college level education? It doesn't have to be the traditional 4 year college education either, some type of post high school college or trade school will be great.

Since you are into cars, perhaps you can pursue the skills in automotive. I am telling you that if you get certified some how you will be much better off.

If I were to get into anything auto it would probably be autobody or something... but honestly I don't know what I want.. something I can enjoy thats all.

My brother tried college, dropped out cause he absolutely hated it (I think he was intimidated by others) but he just graduated from Wyotech and he just had an interview for a job paying $50,000 a year, ENTRY LEVEL! He was also so psyched about completing Wyotech's program he was talking about goin back to College
