Hey everyone, is there a good machine shop around the north western part of Washington? I scored a shortblock for cheap and want to start getting the prep work done to build another motor.

The only one I know to trust is just across the border in Langley, B.C. They did my block and head.
I think I paid $700 to have the head and block decked, the bores honed, new bearings installed, my new cams installed, and everything checked. Mind you I brought them a the block with all the internals still attached and the head still intact. I don't have a breakdown of the costs Dane, but if you get ahold of Bill at The Independent Speed Shop he can get you in touch with the machine shop he used.
