HPF has a "kit" for our cars though that contains new seals....I dont want to take out the whole pumpkin and rebuild the whole thing..I just want to change the oil.....SHOULD I take out the pumkin and degrease/clean it out and THEN put in the new oil?

Oh lord mario, its not difficult at all!

The drain and fill plugs are right there in your face!

Its just picking the RIGHT fluid and/or additives to actually gain the performance that you WANT ( or as i would put it I DESERVE) to justify the cost.

just from personal experience, get a PUMP or a nossle to fit that bottle when it's time to put it in.......gotta be one of the most annoying fluids to change in this car.

Anyways i just put in valvoline 75w-90 with ford additives. Mine has a slow leak so i ain't putting in any expensive stuff yet :)

I run redline 75w90 w/no addititves, doesn't make a sound.

and yes the pump is a must, and, of course, make sure your car is level is doing the "spill over" method per TSRM....:icon_bigg
