LSD Question?

I have a question.
Would a LSD from a 1990 turbo supra 5 spd. fit my 1991 n/a supra automatic?
if it does fit, would i need to change anything besides the LSD?

I think the NA's have the 4.10 or 4.30 gears in them and the 1991 has the 3.73 in them. It will fit, but I don't know if your NA is going to like the lower gears.

yep it'll fit no problem only diff is going to be your gearing

Ok, so will there be a problem? any difference in driving? will it buckle or jolt when shifting?

The only difference is going to be the gears. You will have longer gears with the 3.73 and it will take you longer to wind them out. I would keep the 4.30's in the NA if I was you, but good luck either way.
I had the 3.73's in my car and changed them to the 3.91's.

The 4.1 gears for reference are from a TTR supra with the Torsen Differential.

I'm taking the 3.91 of my 87 and replacing the 4.30 in my 86.5 which in the very near future will be a GTE. I'm doing it for the cruising aspect. I want lower rpms at highway speeds.

what does that gear ratio give you for top end? mph?

It looks like he can go 125mph in fifth gear at 6500 rpm with 245, 45, 17's.
