I tried some research in relation to engine load, rear gear, and turbo spool.

With load in mind; How will a large turbo 7M perform with a 4.10 or 4.30 LSD rear gear?
(5-speed manual transmission.)
Would boost lag increase?

Just curious!

I come from a land down under
Perceived lagg may actually be less as the car will respond quicker off boost so should move easier.

It's a fine line between Load/mechanical advantage with a heavy car Brent.

Define a "large turbo". I plan on keeping my 4.30 open when I put on a 61mm. If you plan on racing from a 60mph roll, 4.30s might not be the best idea (4th should top out around 120 with a stock rev limit 7m)

sounds like my setup, i think that it is quicker with the gears.. but I don't really remember it before sense they have been on for a while. the only prob i have is the speedo being off.

This will help you figure out what gear I right for your setup
Thanks ALOT for posting those, J.

I want to drag race the car mainly, but still be able to hook on the street and stay in boost. 255-50-16 street tires mainly.

I think I will put the diff in this weekend and just go with it.
Couple of people guided me in the right direction.
Thanks again.

What engine management are you running or more specifically whats your redline and how much power do you expect to make?

4.30:1 will be perfect.... The idea is that a 3500 lbs car that makes roughly 550 hp should trap at 126 mph ... In theory you want to go though the traps right as your hitting the revlimiter ... so 4.30 gears with 255-50-16 tire @ 7000 Rpm is exactly 126...............perfection!!
