Anyone know what a 7M should sell for with wiring harness and ECM with a blown head gasket? I'd rather the person I sell it to know what they're buying.

Probably 500.00 USD tops.

Cool, that's about what I figured. Thanks.

I cut the camaro in half today, mostly for fun, partially so it's easier to dispose of. I am pretty sure I have decided to keep the R154, which is funny, because I was pretty adamant about getting rid of it. I may even pick up the lower (higher? Whichever makes better gas mileage, I just know the number gets smaller.) 5th gear and swap that in. Can anyone clue me in on how hard that is?

I took pictures of the swap, but they're not going up to photobucket well, so I might have to find a different site to host them, I'll try to get them up by the weekend's end. Needless to say, cutting a camaro in half is a lot of fun.

After I get the camaro out of the garage and clean the garage up, then the supra goes in and I start tearing it down. Should be interesting.

Depends on condition of the harness what not. I sold my 91 (the newer block and intake) GTE with BHG for $500 alone. The harness got another $200 (still sold it to cheap it was mint) and TCCS was 75 ;)

Adds up to more then 500. Also depends if you have a local buyer for the motor. Harness and TCCS is easy to ship, the motor not so much.

But if you dont have a buyer for any of it is is worth $0.00

Does anyone know where I can find one of those adapters? I'm not seeing any. The best thing I could find was a $450 bellhousing, and then after all the manufacturer specific stuff to make that bellhousing work, it ends up being almost $900, at that rate, I might as well take advantage of the cheap T56 I can pick up and have a driveshaft made.

The AX15 is the jeep version of the R154.

Sweet, wow, this is so much simpler and easier than trying to use the BS that Advance Adapters wanted me to use. They had a full bellhousing, and were trying to dick me around into depending on them for all my clutch, pressure plate, and throw-out pieces with their jacked up prices, not to mention the bellhousing cost 50% more than this adapter plate.

I really appreciate the help!

I hear you on that. I'm in the middle of getting laid off, going back to school, and remodeling my garage so I can FINALLY bring the supra home and start fixing it.

But everything's going alright, so I'm happy.

Dang, man. Sounds like a busy time for you as well!

Finally got my pictures sorted out.

Here we go, that's where I was sitting when I made the final cut. And my partner in crime with me. Haha, we couldn't stop joking around about calling it a chop shop:

I saw that you stuck with the r154 but if you ever plan on making this a full blown drag car you should go with a turbo 400. with a nice stall this thing would roll out.

Good for consistent ETs. Bad for fun.

Good luck on the swap, i love seeing that camaro cut in half! lol

Thanks, hah, I'm actually tired of seeing it, myself. Hoping to have it out of the garage this weekend.

Today, I made an offer on some tranny adapter stuff, hopefully will hear back soon on that.

Posted a bunch of the junk I pulled off the camaro on craigslist for sale, we'll see how that stuff sells.
