lower radiator hose rubbing PS pulley

After swapping in my rebuilt 7mgte, my lower radiator hose is rubbing against the power steering pulley. Any advice for how to fix this without rigging it with zip ties? Thanks

You could try doing it like Toyota did. They didn't use zip ties...

Just loosen the hose either at the radiator or the water pump and twist the hose until you have
Clearance. Just make sure you don't kink or deform the hose.

Yea I swapped motors (na-->gte), but I am assuming the lower hose still fits into the same positioning?

Same Thing between the 2. Never seen a hose rub.

Are u sure its a 7m hose? Just something else to look into.

Yea it came off of the nonturbo engine. We probably just put it in there wrong. I have a second lower hose in good condition I can put on. Thanks guys. My head is still kind of spinning from the swap...it's been a long week.

You know I had the same problem with mine haha just trimmed it a bit to fit better and it was fine.

You know the GTE lower hose is different from the GE right?

Had same problem with my swap. I didn't know the hoses were different, but I should've checked that.

I got it to fit, but it still hits the side of the pump. I'll add this to my list of parts to buy.
