Lower control arm bushing help

Hey guys, working on replacing my control arm bushings with new poly bushings. Problem is, i cant seem to get the lower control arm bolt out of the rear side bushing on the front control arms. It just will not budge.I have taken the nut off, and I must have hit it 100 times with a large hammer, and still it hasnt budged.

Is there something im missing here?

That problem is VERY common on these cars. If you search you can probably find some decently in-depth threads on the matter. Basically, the inner sleeve of the bushings seizes to the bolt. Many people would say it is basically impossible to remove the arm without cutting the bolt and replacing the bushing. I ran into the problem on almost every lower arm on my Supra. Cut the bolts with a sawzall or a die grinder, just be careful not to cut the subframe in the process.

Yes, welcome to having seized lower control arm bushings. It sucks. Accept it, and move on with the sawzall and cutoff wheels.
