low clutch fluid question

what would cause this because my clutch is slipping and i refill every other week. also what would cause the brake warning light to pop on do our cars have a proportioning valve?

if you have to keep adding fluid, chances are that you have a leak somewhere, or lots of air in the line, or a combination of both. check your brake fluid.

does your car have ABS?

i have to refill my clutch fluid reservoir once in a while but that's because its leaking from the clutch master cylinder. that might also be the cause for you.

isn't the clutch hydraulics and the brake hydraulics two separate systems?.. that's why there's two separate reservoirs.

yes, they're two completely separate systems.

Hey sense your on the topic of clutches my car has been sitting for about two weeks. Two weeks ago it round fine and everything. Well just got my new ic pipes and maft pro installed. I went to start it for the first time and when i pushed on the clutch it went all the way to the floor and i had to reach down to pull it back up. Any suggestions.

New master cylinder?????? It was working fine the last time i drove it then all the sudden when i went to drive it the clutch goes to the floor

Bleed it. Check for leaks. If it continues to go to the floor get a new one.
