I have a manual boost controller (i know my first problem) any way, while on the street car is putting down 12-13psi but on the dyno the max i was getting was 8-9 psi but mostly staying at 6. Just was wondering if anyone knew why. I looked around but couldn't find anything about it.

Thats what i was thinking but the teacher is an as% but anyway. He said he was loading it and we even tried a pull in 5th.. I was just looking to see what it could be.. Here are some sad numbers. 230 was the highest i could get, dynos are"ase certified". On another dyno i was putting down 300(before full exhaust). At first he tried to tell me 150 was right...and i told him that i could fly and that 150 put me at 13.5... not so much worried about numbers just boost loose.

Something else to consider is that you were likely getting cooler air (and more of it) while driving as opposed to being on the dyno.

Were there any fans running?

so you drove the car before and after the dyno and were hitting 12-13 before and after but not on the dyno? I would think that for sure in 5th gear the car should easily be able to make 12-13 psi, hell if I put my car in fifth gear it and floor it at 1500 rpm on the street it is at 10-12 lbs by 2000-2500 rpm.

Also my car hits 12-13 lbs on the CT26 on a dyno in 4th gear, just takes it a little longer to spool up than on the street (pre AVC-R install).

Well, My car gets into boost long before 15 sec. are up. You still did not answer if the car made full boost before and after the dyno session. I am not sure what to tell you. Since the pull is taking 15 sec's I think the amount of load applied would be more than enough to spool our tiny stock turbo.

i thought i did answer that in the beginning but yes it did boost to 12 before and 13 after the dyno/ it got a lot colder. I just wanted to know if this happens to other people or what ever.
