the date hasnt been set firm yet. always open for suggestions of what would be best for the majority.

so, now would be a good time to have your voice heard!

Man I hear you. I hope the powers that be are closer to shutting down the Cell towers there. Just shows that making $$ is more important then safety.3d_frown:
Keep safe & don't skimp on the countermeasures. We will have to get together when you get back. Have a meet end of Nov. or 1st of Dec. Anything you need or would like to have that we can get for ya & send it your way?

As for the meet looks like Sept. 23rd &/or 24th Dosen't look like too much intrest for a 2 day Formal sponsered event. I propose we meet at Cox's park & hang out for a few hours, then head out for a FUN run up River Rd toward hwy 42. Cut through some back rd twistys over to 841 & split off on to the 841/71 Clover leaf a few laps then back onto 71. From there we can head over off blakenbaker & let the cars cool down & have a cold drink &/or just head to Hooters,BW3's etc.

i think its a little premature to count out people. with chicago coming up soon its hard to think about another meet. besides, its nearly 2 months away.
chris and i went out to lawrenceburg to hoofn motorsports to tune his car. i talked to him for a while and he said if we wanted to bring out a group of cars we could make a dyno day and he would host a cookout. that might be something to consider as well. all he requires for a group discount is 3 or more cars, so wouldnt need a ton of commitment on that side of it.

just a thought.

I'll be there and I'll dyno...so...just two more to get the group discount. :icon_bigg.
I'm going to Mapquest Lawrenceburg from Louisville(If that is the primary meet spot) and see how much more of a drive that would be for me.
Oh well. Either way, I'll be there and ready to dyno(If that goes through).

Not counting anyone out. Just going with the info at hand. The thread has been up for two weeks. As for lawrenceburg I'm all for that. We can still meet up at Cox park & head out from there. For you guys driving in from Indy area its only about a 45min drive east from the park. We can make a nice fun run out of it.

45 minutes east from Louisville would land you in Lawrenceburg, KY, somewhere between Louisville and Lexington and south a little - I think not far from Shaker Village if you've ever been out there. It's a nice drive through some horse farm country, and it might be possible to take a few twisties along the way.

I'm planning on having my car running as good as I can get it by then, so count me in for the dyno. Gotta find out what my time and money have done for me. Any idea how much $$$ for a couple of pulls?

Hold on let me get this straight, Lawrenceburg,ky has a motorsports shop with a dyno?I lived in frankfort for 5 years, i still go to school in lawrenceburg, and im suprised that theres anything there. Maybe its a misunderstanding and its lawreceburg,in.It takes aprx. 50-55 minutes to get to Lawrenceburg from louisville. I-64 east and get off at Grafenburn/Lawrencburg exit, merge right off the exit and go staight for 10 miles untile the single main intersection with stoplights, and you can go straight or right to gointo lawrenceburg. Also that whole area is one huge speed trap. From 151 to 127 is god awful with state police.

These also some supra guys out there in the sticks. A friend of mine spotted them last summer, he said there was about 3 turbo's headed toward frankfort.I dont know them or ever seen them, and i dont go to lawrenceburg, except for school.Im quite familiar with that area, so if anybody has question ill try my best to answer them. I just relized by time this meet is started ill already been inschool for a month and will be driving to lawrenceburg from louisville daily.
