Buddy, the problem isnt with your engine if YOU overtightened it.....

ya but this is not the only problam. i built this motor to be perfect put over 5k into it... and it has never been reliable... it allways has problams... classic 7m problams... im done with it.

Was everything within spec?? The 7M is in no way a bad engine, buying a 1J will not make all your problems go away.

Will: Yep took me awhile to understand what was causing it then did some measuring and even at the stock 36ft/lbs it deflects half a thou! :aigo:

It's a seriously big bolt so very easy to crank 2x that Tq into and Mongy the block
