i have a couple of questions for you guys. i have a 1jz and noticing a couple of things.
Whenever im driving the car or turn off the car , coolant will start dripping out of the overflow. It stays dripping almost anytime the car is running and right when you turn it off. No other signs or any other problems though.

second question
whenever i start the car on a cold start, if i rev the car up to about 2k or so it will start stumbling and hesitating and i can hear a sound it seems like coming from the intake. Its like a faint popping sound. Whenever it around 2k i can also hold the car wide open and it will stay at the same rpm. Now if i rev it slowly i can get it up to about 4k and it will do it again but it will slowly rev higher and after 4k it just goes to running like normal.

can you guys help me on either of these issues? thanks much

Check the rad cap, sounds like its shot.

The popping and revving thing sounds weird...have you recapped your ECU?

i dont have a dash or gauge cluster so i can't really do that. its fully gutted and use an safc as a tach and have other gauges for readings.

i was able to fix the stumbling issue with adding some fuel in the low rpms. No it has not been re capped. thanks
