Eh? I have yet to hear about people complaining about the whole mod team in general, I have only seen em post about specific mods... hell, if thats the case, then I would HATE ALL THE MODS here...

I know I am trying to do what I think is right, but then some may not see it that way. I just don't know who is on your list.

As far as the mods on SF, I only know the ones that are in the MK3 section. So that would be Zazzn, Trent, SuprAng, and you.
I am friendly with Zazzn & Ang, or at least we have traded friendly PM's in the past. Trent seems to be a real cool dude and I respect the way he lays the law down and for the reasoning he has with it. He seems to take things in a relatively professional manner.

But then again, I have exchanged PM's with Steve Theodore once also (had to tell him to lock a thread because of some trolling) & he seems cool too.

I think where the most potential problems would occur is OT. Many times I told myself I should just limit myself to the Tech section because many times General gets to be too off topic & that is when problems occur the most--when people discuss tastes, or opinions, or something of ebay and cant agree to move on, and then things get ugly & rough.

Really?! You think it is harder to get banned at SF then here?
I would have said that it is harder to get banned here.
But then you are speaking from your experience, so it is somewhat biased, and you only received time outs.

Lamarossa & Catchmeifyoucan3 got banned for life over at SF.

Over here a member got banned & then we even wondered if we should let him back, even though he did physically threaten a mod.

If you like MkIV and MkIII talk, hang around here and I-Supra. This place is great for the MkIII people, and I moderate at I-Supra - there aren't enough people over there to make it crappy, and the mods are pretty laid back.

i still like I-supra! i post there frequently someone's gotta help out the new guys!

Siman has never messed with me. Somehow...we just don't tangle on threads at all. Maybe we post on different things and don't see each other much on the forums, or maybe he is not as bad as others want to make him out to be...or maybe he is different than he once was but his old rep has not gone away.

Anyways, from what I have seen, he ain't that bad at all. Even in this post, it was a good reply. I wonder how many could have been so civil such as his reply...

Just trying to say, there are MUCH worse than what people think of siman that noone ever talks about...

A quick note on Siman - he's taken a fair bit of heat because we think he's worth keeping. There are people who don't take any heat - because they just get instantly banned in a rather permanent fashion. Mods don't waste their time on a true moron, they just ban him, his IP, giggle a bit, and go back to their regularly scheduled life.
