can somebody who mods over there find out if i really did get banned? not that i care about sf, but i do like talking to some friends over there that don't post here.

Over there you aren't supposed to question mods (I think it is in their rules) because other members will think that they can get away with dissing the "authority" figures.

i'm guessing it was in off-topic. the thread was a new 'how old are you thread". the guy asked what the ages of the people are 'cause he's seen a lot of young mkiv owners and said the cars are a high priced hobby. basically he wanted to know who outright owns and who had mommy or daddy help.

i said that i was turning 22 september 1st and i have owned 4 mkiii's so far, with no help from mommy or daddy.

hi-psi then replies after me saying "this thread asked how old people are" "NOT HOW OLD ARE YOU AND WHAT TYPE OF CAR DO YOU DRIVE"

so i quote him with "this thread asked how old people are" "Not why am i abusing my moderator super powers and being a dick"

oh well, i probably deserve it.

I think that is a tough section to mod, SF OT, so that is why they may be so hard.
I would not know really since I have only posted in SF OT for only one day (two or three posts total).

I seem to only post about cars or forum related things.
From reading my posts, maybe I seem shallow. heh

I used to be a big fan of the SM chat room though, now I try to keep it brief in there because I am busier.

Hmm, I know that busy forums make for haste.
Two other forums I am on are slow and the people seem very polite, as if they are just happy to see other members post.
I think there may be a correlation between how slow a forum is to how polite the members are.

Yeah.. before THIS forum came to be the new MkIII hang-out [we all know that the MkIII guys are the largest group and are generally younger people with big mouths], that happened every time SF went down [very often] and people needed a place to go flame other Supra owners for a week.

Unfortunately, modding is a job where you will be lumped together. Members don't complain about a few bad mods, they complain about a bad mod team.

Well, that explains it then. I LOVE those kinds of people- so easy to annoy! I also enjoy the comments non-respectful give other people, like me for instance. Then, when you get in their face and tell them to beat you up they turn into little bitches or say something like "oh, don't play yourself foo!"... that's usually when I just smack them.

They should be put into a clean-room with no ventialtion, so they can be "observed". Along with smokers!
