I stumbled upon a person selling an MK3 (1986.5) supra, and he wants 800 for it. Has a fresh black coat of paint, says its been sitting for a while, but the only thing wrong with it is a rod bearing that needs to be replaced. Is this difficult to have the part changed?

thanks!

Have to pull the motor to do it right. Hopefully it doesn't need a crank. Price would really depend on the damage done, and what has to be replaced. I would expect to spend a $1000 minimum, parts and labor.

I'd say leave it alone. Thats not worth getting and you be better off saving for a nice turbo or a running NA
