Looking for tsm on 2jz timing belt

I need to put a timing belt on my 1jz, and im assuming its the same as a 2jz. Need to find a tsm for cam and crank placement when replacing the belt

2j is not the same.you need to get a timing belt for a isuzu pick up with 2.6L 4cyl .its like 137 teeth

Yeah I know that, I need the tsm toyota service manual deal for changing the timing belt

sorry.i misread the thread.cam markings need to face straight up (there is markings on the metal cam gear cover)and the crank marking to the 0 tdc.unbolt the self adjuster.keep all your slack on the adjuster side.once you got the belt on just roll the motor over a few times and make sure they keep in-line

don't forget about the tensioner. if you have never changed a timing belt on a JZ engine, you will need a bench vise or a hydraulic press to push in the pin. once it's pushed in, use a small hex key to retain it.

also make sure to not push the hex key too far out; it will get in the way when you are reinstalling the tensioner.
