Never really saw this thread until now. Cool car, the dash (and I'm guessing the engine too) seem to be quite similar to what would have been put in a 2nd generation Celica or Mk1 Supra. Cool stuff, the 18r was a great motor, had some nice tuning options, and racing history. Bit underpowered for something as heavy as a Soarer, but still cool.
I like your idea though. I like how the motor probably cost 10 times what the car itself did.

The engine will go into someones old Corolla, gave it away on our local forums. Should be a better place for it Sadly didn't get to drive it, couldn't start it properly. Carb needs parts I guess.
Close to 30 times actually, at least now. In the end probably more like 40-50 times more than the car JDM Aristo engine, turbos are dead = big single. Plus I think I'll need a good cam and some minor fuel tuning?
Will start bodywork after the tranny tunnel gets its beating. Also some JDM flares

I think he almost has a second one in parts.
Otherwise haven't done much to the car besides pulling the engine. Lucky for me, I think it is the ma61 tranny crossmember that already was on the car with the w5x transmission hanging off of it!
Otherwise bought every bit of MOOG suspension parts from the US.
Plus got a whole set of Energy Suspension bushings and only then found out that there is even a better kit produced in Poland with bushes for rear differential and subframe that the ES kit doesn't have. Hopefully someone with a mk2 Supra will buy the kit Don't know why I even bothered getting the sway bar bushes and stuff... I should've known I'll want the Whiteline bars anyway.
Nashman SS v2 black edition 2nd hand from a member on here.
All new bearings from RockAuto. Hopefully they are good. The logo on the box is awesome though
S13 Strut bar. Per someones diy needs some redrilling (and painting...) but hopefully will work ok
Got myself a welder too. Though hopefully I won't be doing much of it on this car myself
