I had the same one in my 240. At the dragstrip it would get extremely hot in the car and my hand would slip off constantly. I would recommend a driving glove if you plan on dragging. Otherwise I agree to match the color if you can.
Another hot knob story here too. Had a pretty shiny metal one for awhile... till summer came. Once I burnt my hand a couple times out it came. (some of us don't learn the first time :icon_bigg )
Cripes, where do you guys live? On the surface of the sun? Or do you just have girlie mitts? My SEATS get hotter than my gearshift knob.

My aluminum RAZO knob gets hot, but it's okay, because I don't have delicate princess hands, I have MAN HANDS.....
