96 S14. only 64K miles on the clock, interior is spik-n-span. I am really excited to do this project. I am bouncing around the details of the project but I'll unveil everything when it makes it's debut.

if i could do an S13 or S14 singled 1J swap for 9K i'd prolly do it.

i just want something new to toy with, but am also looking at just getting a NEWER car (99+) working on old cars is really getting.....well........OLD

I was surprised to know that the 1j with a single turbo no tranny wieghs 30lbs less then a KA with out tranny, with IC and piping way more obviously. Anyways, My 1st 240sx with a 1j weighed in at almost 2800lbs. Traction was always an issue so I would put 3 manifolds in the trunk and vuola!

That is still much lighter than a mk3. they are independant rear right? Just throw a sand bag in the trunk haha. I always said a powerful mk3 or 4 would prob run a better et with 100 extra lbs in the trunk. Does it take any cutting.fabricating to fit the motor in there?

same idea as an RB into one (have experience).. don't need much power and they get really fast, REAL quick.

That is a supra 1j converted to front sump and a 95 MKIV w58 tranny. (has the extended shifter necessary for this swap). I ordered a gt4082 from presicion.
I am doing the same set up that I have on my lexus on this 240. Put it up to 450-480rwhp with a long power band. And yeah no cams, just a simple SAFC2 and 550 injectors.

why not use the R154 w/ the jzz GT extension rod.. thats what my friend did for his aristo 2j into S14.
