Ive been told to get ARP lugs.

What else do you reccomend?

I put a 5mm spacer on my rear wheel and i was only able to get about 5 turns before it wouldn't go anymore. Not safe.

I plan to run an 8mm spacer up front as well.

Anyone have any pointers?

Thanks
Kyle

the arp's are for an is300 i believe and are a fair deal longer than stock i have been told.

i had his greatness oem lange look into what toyota had to offer, and i believe some of the toyota trucks came with a longer stud with the same thread as our cars use. im still undecided on what to get for my car.

im going to most likely run at the very least a 10mm spacer on my new wheels since i cant seem to find anything in the right width / offset combo for what i want.

if i can get some concrete numbers on how much longer the truck studs are ill bother you on AIM and let you know kyle :)

I've leard the landcruiser studs are longer? not sure though

land cruiser studs are a different thread though i believe. land cruiser studs are what i was told to look into at first which is what led me to bother Jeff about it.

edit: i hopefully will see Jeff tonight to go check on my exhaust, so ill try and discuss this further with him.

Fine and comfortable are worlds apart.

true. the wheels i use now are pretty thick and i can get about 7 turns out of my nuts and stock studs, but i dont feel comfortable really pushing the car hard. easy fix with new wheels or longer studs, since i hate my offset, im doing both :icon_bigg

Im confused. it's well known that as long as you have 3 turn's your fine. he has 66 percent more then the minimum... how is that not comfortible?

Also, John, Can you call me when your with Jeff, I need to ask him about ABS equipped cars and stud swapping.

Well... if you want REALLY long, you could get some ARP racing studs and lug nuts. I don't think thats quite what you're looking for.

It would be plenty long though, and makes for easier pitstops. :)

Depends which Land Cruiser. Most Land Cruisers use the SAME studs as the Supra. There are some 4x4 Trucks with about 1/4" longer wheel studs, I was holding about 4 different types of studs that Toyota uses in my hands at work the other day comparing them.

I'll take another look tomorrow and get an exact length difference and part number.
