your bro can weld... and thats coming from a welder with a father as a welder. Ask your bro to cut 12oz drink can in half(dr. pepper) and weld it back together without punching through, if he can do it and still keep it clean, then he is the shiznit!

i think ill need 100% argon. i've heard of tri-gas, what's its mix? got some aluminum wire at work, and i dont think ill have to switch polarity since i've been welding with a gas setup since the beginning.

I didnt see a definate answer to this, what about the EGR? because i have NO plans of eliminating it because of LAME CA smog.....

and could your brother add a 45 degree bend to the front to make the TB pointed toward the battery? because i'd rathe have my piping go through that section and i'll relocate the battery. Let me know.

Ok the pics below are for the other intake we made for a friend of mine, his using a stock T-body. You can see how it clears alternator and the battery. This is just a bare block with a .050 gasket and a stock head. Ill have pic of it in his engine and will not offer it for sale until it’s on his car running and everything is 100%. I’m sure everything clears because we measured and mocked everything up plenty of times…. :biglaugh:

I could add a 45 degree angle it’s not a problem. Now for the EGR i would have to ask and see if he wants to deal with that. Its simple to add but he does not do this for a living, his a 1st year med student and don’t have much time... sucks

Just wondering why you didn't flare the ends of the runners more, or add internal velocity stacks inside the plennum the way the Japanese do?

Seems like you not going to get good flow into the runners because of the square edges.
