Burnout has nothing to do with it, it could of just been slick black tarmac and cold tires.
Ive done it a fewtimes on my bike, but i recovered. It can sneak up on you when your not suspecting it. and the gsxr1000 probably has a lot more power than my 600 lol.

Yeah, but mostly in the video the rider was at fault. When im doing a pdi on a busa or any one liter bike, every time i go to give it a little gas the back gets all skimpy.

I have seen an ex250 (new bike with new tires) peel out....lol :naughty:

you mean a ninja 250 (EX is the model number name, gets lower insurance rates usually too)

peeling out is easy on damn near any motorcycle...

that one wreck was bad, damn civic did a 180... looked like they pulled the e-brake.

dunno about a down sensor either, usually the carbs flood on older bikes...

cbr 929 have D.F.I.
i should of explained more on the 250...lol
at work i launched the bike to the customer...he was ok .
" I know how to ride" he gets on te bike. He tries to shift in to gear using the rear brake pedal...lol. he gets mad at me, i tell him again about his bike....he tells me "im older then you and your just a mechanic what do you know about riding"
So he gets on it, dumps the clutch at like 8k then the bike peels out for days a good 200 feet. lol
customer gets off the bike and tells me that it has to much power....lol

they already have ABS for bikes now...

honestly I think it's a bit funny, the point of driving a motorcycle is to drive a stripped down piece of machinery that will take you where you want to go...

I'd probably pick up a ninja 250 because it's light, gets great gas milage, and if I want to be fast I learn how to ride instead of twisting my wrist...

It is always more fun to ride a 'slow' bike fast. Rather than people who cant ride that just buy the fastest bike, try to point it straight and twist the throttles. Amazes me how people think they are seriously skilled riders because theyve gone 150mph or whatever on a straight.

I see guys here all the time, brand new sport bike taking a turn almost sitting the bike straight up, counter leaning their body and going maybe 10mph. Soon as they clear that turn the throttle is cracked wide open.

For me the whole point of a motorcycle is fun, theres no experience like leaning a bike over in a turn.

yeah exactly, thats why i pefer the 600 over the 1 liter bikes, because its not "too powerfull" that you have to worry about traction, you can just get on the loud stick and lean that bitch over in the turns. and honestly, 120hp on a 450 pound bike is more than enough lol

That has got to hurt in many ways. Didn't catch what the dude said in the first video just before he dumped the bike. Never had that happen to me, but my bike was way under powered.

theres scooters too :) even more mpg. bikes are dangerous in my opinion i'll never ride one... people drive crazy enough around me.

most of the people in the vids prolly broke many a bones too =/ i dont think its too funny knowing people that have died or gotten seriously injured in accidents. but i think they couldve been smarter thats for sure..

Which is the reason why I traded my bike years ago for a car.

I live with 9 screws and 2 plates in my hip, also broke my shoulder bone in half, broke basically every bone in my right foot, 6 broken ribs. If that wasnt enough I totally shredded an artery in my left hip which bled out internaly for 2 days and 9 units of blood before they found it. Then I Still have nerve damage in my right foot from a stretch nerve, cant feel my big toe lol.

All because some woman in a ford F350 ran a redlight and Tboned me going 50mph.

I still ride, cant live in fear just be more aware and prevent the things you can and live with the ones you cant.

scooters can't handle like a bike (no way to hold on)

Personally I dunno if I'll ever ride, but being into bikes make me look out for them on the road...

^ atleast there's SOMEONE on the road that is.

I can get just as messed up driving my bike as I can in my STI. When I'm in my car I'm driving, talking on the cell phone, changing radio stations, eating, talking to passengers, singing, boosting, checking out scenery, the list goes on... but when I'm on my bike I'm driving and watching everyone around me in all directions that I can. I still say my bike is safer than my car for that reason.

Few weeks ago I came <1' from hitting a deer on the interstate running 90mph, that's the only thing that scares me. Just stop, clean out my pants, and get going again. I'll go when it's my time, car, motorcycle, or rollerskates.
