Loctite on Flywheel and Pressure plate?

I was talking to my dad and he said I should put some loctite on.. if I need to what kind should I dab on there?

I can't remeber if I used the blue or the red. But you definetly don't want those bolts getting loose.

Put it on yur crank pully bolt too... That thing WILL work its way out... Ask me how I know... Ok, dont ask, I'll tell you... It flew out of my NA rebuilt motor about 3000 miles later... So, lesson learned...

I just pulled my flywheel and there looked to be red lock tight on them.

i never used lock tight on fly wheel or clutch cover bolts just can't them coming off the heat will freez them in any way

yeah I really doubt Loctite is needed there. If I were to use some though I would use the BLUE stuff, it's kinda waxy. I would hate to run into an over tightened bolt with red Loctite.

Definitely use loctite on the flywheel bolts. I think the pressure plate bolts come with lock washers?

yessir.

Red is usually Permanent, as well as green, the best to use when locking screws, bolts, and nuts is 222, purple dot threadlocker.

I used thread sealer, not locker.
