Location? Octane?

Here in LA they have 91 octane, except I found a few places that sell 101. I figure I won't drive this car all the time and a few gallons of 101 per tank can't break the bank. But will I "feel" anything different?

Seriously...If your not running over the stock boost and you have done the proper maintenance on your engine you will be fine with 91.

No, you'll see no benefit whatsoever from running higher octane at that boost level. In fact, higher octane will hinder the power.

Really? I didn't know that. Why is that? I have seen people pull 2 dyno runs first with pump gas and then switch to higher octane and run much better numbers with similar setups to mine.

If your car isn't tuned for it there isn't any point in getting higher octane.
