Wish I would have had that advice when I got mine, would have saved me a lot of time. What I ended up doing was shaving one edge down using a wizard. Many hours later it fit better, but still not perfect...emericaskater285;1818078 said:Time for a new computer. And just use a heat gun and mold it if it doesn't fit perfect.
I do agree, I was not happy with teh original fitment of mine. It looks passable now, but it took me about 6 hours to get it to fit that good. Do you have a brand you would recommed or know somebody that makes ones that fit well? I would eventually like to do mine right, but that's near the bottom of the list.GrimJack;1818112 said:After actually installing a couple of these, I'd never pay real money for one. I've yet to see one that fits nicely.
Their 2 gauge pod is what I have, fitment was poor on it, although I haven't seen the 3 gauge ones so I wouldn't know if they fit better or worse. In any case, both of them fit pretty poorly, but can be made passable if you are willing to spend hours trimming and fitting one to get it just right. And aftr all that work, its only passable, I wouldn't give it an excellent.Poodles;1818160 said:Supposedly their 2 pod one is a bit better. Still think the gauges are angled wrong though.
Do you have any pics? Mine fits ok now, but I had to do a lot of trim/fitment work to get it there.MKIIISupraGuy;1818205 said:I have a Lotek 2 gauge, and fitment is great.
