If you don't like the fidanza, this RPS (real piece of s#it) thing was worse!
I have seen one that a guy installed, and had to take out because of chatter.
3 of the wear plates showed contact (wear marks),
but one wasn't even touching the disk (no wear marks).

JUN makes a billet 7M flywheel, so does OS-Giken, C-one, and RG.
(all Japanese companys)

And so do the chinese,
but they are typical china crap.
If you have ever seen a car after a flywheel exposion,
you would never buy a chinese one.

There was a guy on eBay importing the JDM flywheels,
but I haven't seen him offer any in a long time.

What's wrong with the fidanza? I had one on my car for over 4 years with no problem with about 80 drag passes. The only reason why I switch back to stock was because of the clutch that I have.

Not the best quality control, I had re-drill the holes and then check center and balance again. Not something that should have to be done!

I had no problems with my Fidanza either. In fact, I loved it. :)

I've heard that having a Fidanza (or any lightened flywheel for that matter) Causes severe deceleration when you let off the gas, to the point that it'd only be beneficial on a drag car (where deceleration doesn't happen lol)..

I'd love to hear some comments from people who have them because my flywheel is mangled and I need a new one, I'd like to go with a light one because of the acceleration benefits, but the car will be "somewhat" a daily driver..

Also, what are the differences between the JDM ones and the USDM ones?

N its nothing drastic, Our flywheels arent that heavy to begin with, what 19 lbs??? And your only dropping around 8 going with a light weight. My car revs noticably faster than my brothers with it, You will loose a little mileage on the highway, but I think I actually gained a few city. I love my flywheel now I just hated that It needed modification to be installed and would go with another brand if I did it again.

Not severe, just more pronounced.

None of the Japanese manufactures make aluminum flywheels,
they are all billet steel.
