The 5zigen FN01R-C's that are on my car in my sig are 17x8 in the front and 17X9 rear (i no longer have them. Jake owens them now.)

Anyways, they are 16lbs ea. for the fronts and 16.5lbs for the rear.

About the only wheels that I know for a fact are lighter, but not by much are the SSR compitition's. IIRC 15 and 15.5lbs respectively.

you can sort by size and look at the 17's. It's a place to start at least.

Nice site, but I wounder about there acuracy cause it states that the FN01R-C's that I owned were 17 and 19 respectively and I know that is incorrect unless 5zigen has increased the weight of them cause I weighed mine the day that I got them on a post ofice scale and they matched what 5zigem specified them to be.

Still a good find though....

yea ive seen that site and its nice but im questioning its accuracy as well. i was looking for more first hand experience like CJ has offered witch was awesome and i would buy the 5zigens but too many people have them. thats the problem.

I have OZ ultraleggera's. They aren't super-light, but 17.5 lbs is pretty good for a high-quality wheel <$200.

Mine are very lightweight! (See if you can spot them on SM ;))

What... you thought I was just going to tell you?

One more tip: check the weight of the tires you put on them too, as they are the farthest out rotating mass and make the biggest difference per pound.

say money is no object within reason, if i was totally no object i would have jt2ma71's Kinesis K58R but there a little rich for me. say up to 400 per wheel. i really like the SSR GT3's

ssr_gt3_ci3_l.jpg

seriously considering as well. although i don't really want 18's and a little too pricey. i still want a good balance between traction and looks and 17's are exactly that. 18's don't have enough sidewall, and 16's are too small for what i want.

i like the SSR GT3 style, 5 spoke silver polished lip with rivets, i want something high end looking like that.

And I can chuck them across the room with minimal effort, these things are LIGHT! One of these days I'll see them rotate! WHOO HOO!
