I have been driving my car more at night recently. And many people have been flashing their lights at me. Before everyone jumps on the band wagon, YES I CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THE HIGH BEAMS WERE NOT ON. Anyways, my left (driver side) light is extremely bright, while my other is dim. And even with the high beams on the left is still brighter than the right. Is this normal for the MKIII? Or is my car trying t tell me something? I need some help please.

Questions:
Is this normal for the MKIII?
Can it be fixed?
And how if it can?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Do you have those cheap "projector" ebay lights? Are your lights aimed correctly?

Of course do this after fixing the dim light...

Check one of the whole headlights haven't been replaced previously. One of my is a different headlight (the whole housing and all), same wattage etc but is brighter than the factory side.

buy new headlights, they're not terribly expensive and you can start from there...

also, make sure your headlights are aimed properly..

park on a flat level surface, aim your car at a wall, and adjust the leveling screws on the headlights (of course set the headlights to the parking lights, or leave them up, unless you wanna go blind)..

+1, If you're getting the beams from other cars, your headlights are out of whack.
Your owners manual will tell you how to adjust them.

That was both of them, he is only having issues with one of them.
It's called a headlight switch, turn signal switch, or multi-function/combination switch. Depending on who you're talking to.

Lol. I havent had a chance to check the wiring, due to me having eye surgery recently, so bright lights and me dont mix. Anyways, siring isnt my favorite thing in the world. I was really hoping to have hods or projectors but i havent found a kit thats plug and play for the most part. Once my eyes heal, ill check the wiring. So give me a couple days. Sorry im dragging ass guys.

Silverstars are garbage. Any blue coated bulb needs to go in the trash.

or do you just not like the blue tinted color?
