lightened flywheel = less driveability?

I recently installed a new ceramic six puck clutch and RPS billet flywheel. When I am cruising around 30-40 mph, the car either wants to accelerate or decelerate. It ablolutely refuses to just maintain speed. When I am stuck in traffic, it looks like I am have convulsions! Is this normal? I was wondering if it had something to do with not having my MAFT tuned.

I have the same kind of setup - RPS billet flywheel with a 6 puck Spec clutch.

I can cruise at just about any speed ... though there are certainly spots in the RPM band where this is difficult, specifically right where the turbo is trying to spool up.

I don't see how the MAFT could affect this.

Not to mention I really don't think that's the solution to his issue.
Either way, I hope it's fixed by now, so let's not take this any further.

Someone else might have the same problem and by searching found an old thread, might be nice to add solutions to the problem so it is helpful to other people not just the OP.

Man it sounds like your slipping a little against the actuall pressure plate. i would take it back apart and see if something is wrong with the clutch itself. it should be feeling nice and tight and fully engadged... i would call the company that makes the clutch and ask them your same question.

lol note to further posts i think he solved it by switching clutches and flywheels
