yes the HATCH struts from a scion tc work as HOOD struts for the supra (= lol and you actually only need one to hold up the hood.

Are there any other hardwares needed if using the TC's struts? If it is interchangeable i would seriously consider those for the next time im changing mine.

These are working very well for me. I have an aftermarket MKIV style wing that is heavier than stock on my hatch.

Just buy a $3.00 mop. It comes in handy for BHG's too.
