Well, just for shits and giggles I called up Lexus today. They want 1,150 bucks for a Lexus AFM from a SC400. I hung up the phone. Feedback? omg should i buy it? Im so excited :icon_bigg

$70.75, and $88.31 for the low pressure hoses with no clamps.

I would like everybody to build their own and have it run correctly before you question the price.

I am sure you can reproduce the doppler effect that makes the Hz square wave needed, and you will have the LED, photo transitor, and mirror just right.
