Hey you guys i have a semi-serious question--> Which is better I notice in alot of sig's that you guys are running the Lexus AFM/with 550 injectors. But I was also wondering about the HKS FCD what are the pros and cons of both?Which is cheaper which is more tuneable and which will last longer? Thanks in advance.

That is one thing that people must understand...FCO is there for a reason.
LexAFM, 550's, FPR & a Walbro...a good tuning job...You'll be good to go. :)

what about a lex and the hks fcd?

DO NOT run a LexAFM without bigger Injectors...Vica Versa, don't get bigger injectors with no Lexus AFM or MAFT(PRO).

However, If you DO run just the Lex AFM and HKS FCD...The outcome of that would be...Most likely, NO fuel cut...because those two items in particular raise fuel cut and/or eliminate it...But once again, You need more fuel delivery if you are going to run a Lex.

I run the Lex, 550's, and FCD. I have run up to 25psi easily, and 29psi accidentally. With just the Lex and 550's, I would hit fuel cut at around 19psi. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you MONITOR YOUR AIR/FUEL RATIOS.

Exactly!! Just the Lex AFM/550/Walbro 255/FPR/Wideband/S-AFC/ combo limited me to 18psi and 440rwhp even tho the A/F's were pretty rich and there was plenty of fuel left it still cut out anytime i tried to go over that. If you have a fairly solid setup that is not boost spiking all the time or poping of lines then the Lex/550/FCD is a good combo for cheap. Just my two cents.

There has been a lot of controversy over FCD's and what they are capable of on other forums...

From everything that I know about the MKIII Supra, Running a FCD by itself is definately not the smartest thing to do. BUT, Like above posted, As long as you are allowing more Fuel and Air, there shouldn't be a problem using it because you have clearly allowed more A/F to enter your system. Get it? ;)

Well i wanna be running at least 20 psi. i figure that'll get me to about 500hp. I want to try to run it on tracks the most i can, but be able top haul on the highways also. So how would i go about upgrading my fuel system?

Well...For that much boost, and to be much safer, I would go MAFT PRO...
Along with 550 Injectors, you will be able to fine tune everything to your needs. Of course, having a FPR, SAFC, etc etc is going to be key as well.

LOL ^...Well, to the best of my knowledge, once you get the Lex/550/255, then it is VERY recommended to get an FPR. I won't say it will run the greatest but there are many people on here who run that combo and don't ever bother to tune. If you get a wideband; Apexi S-AFC, GReddy Profec B...blah blah blah, the list goes on w/ all the companies, but with this, you will be able to fine tune everything...tuning is KEY when it comes to upgrading your fuel system, period. :) I'm sure someone else will chime in for a little more info...
