Lex Afm w/ stock accordian hose

What does everyone do about the stock accordion hose not fitting around the lex afm? For those of you who have the lex/550 mod.

Boil the accordion hose in water first, then fight with it a lot.

I dunno. I managed to stretch mine over the Lex AFM without boiling or heat treating. Took me a bit though...

get a brand new one. they have more flex that older hardened ones. i used wd40 and left it in the sun for a bit. flat head to help it streach

i used a 2 liter bottle and cut the ends off, and cut the ring at one point. used it kind of like a funnel to wedge it up there.and then pulled it out ez.
