Hey everyone, I'm a newbie here and just bought my first Supra. Its an '88 N/A and i love it!

So here's my idea, lets post some pics of our N/A engine bays to show how a real deal non-turbo engine should look, clean or dirty lets see what we're working with!

"Why spend money on an NA Supra?"

The N/A motor is like a training tool. When you've successfully mastered the Supra's handling qualities and upgraded it to your liking, THEN you add the POWA!

You can do all that with a turbo car just the same.

^Maybe it's like starting with big/small bikes? You can buy a...a...who knows what :D, but if you can't drive for shit, then ....yeah :)
So start low and master the skill? That's what you said about bikes :D

Well for starters to the OP. Here's an already existing thread with what you're looking for.

As far as this. This isn't comparable to motorcycles.

I don't understand the "stepping stone" mentality for having an NA. Everything's the same except the power potential. A stock turbo Supra is rather slow too and can be learned on just the same. You can 'master' the handling or whatever all you want regardless of which model you buy but when you get tired of being slow, there's not much you can do with an NA. :icon_conf

On a side note: Please search to see if we have other threads going before starting new ones.

Thanks

Oh there's certain elitist members who would disagree about that as fervently as most of the MKIV owners I've met would argue that anything other than a MKIV is nothing more than a rebadged Celica.

All the elitist "you've got turbo or you've got nothing" and "you actually paid money for a N/A?" shit is getting old.
