Here is mine, I purchased it wrecked. Still have to get a new hood and massage the panels a little more and then paint, but the leg work is done.

Luckily it was not my fault, and it impacted at just about one of the strongest points of the car, didnt even break the foglight! These cars are beastly, especially considering i rammed into this guys wheel/suspension at about 30mph.

Does it have frame damage?
If no, I say go for it, you can get pretty much everything to fix that at junkyards and online for under $500, this is without paint though.

Looks like it was pretty nice! Take the bumper and all off, and inspect the condition of your frame. Parts can be had cheap. Paint, framework, and parts is a different story. If the frame is OK, fix it. If it needs work, find a shell, and don't look back. You can make your shell money back by parting out what is left. Swap over the motor and everything else you want to keep.

in the service manual are reference points to measure from...write everything down and do as many references as you can. make a determination of whats going to need to be pulled, hammered or even cut and welded to make panels line up.

a wreck like that can be a bitch to get the front to line up again, espeically with the multi-piece front bumper, things can start looking pretty ugly.

if you have a welder and the right tools, id just get a new core support, and whatever you call the brace that the fender bolts to, worst case is youd just go to a junk yard with a electric sawzall and chop what you need, brace everything up and burn it into that chassis.

worst case scenario is youd want a new shell...not too sure about how much of a bitch it is to swap turbo into na chassis, but the na's seem to be a lot less abused, and auto's even more so.

whatever you do, id vote to keep the supra. i just beat a z28 tonight, first race since i got the car a few weeks ago...barely beat em, i hit fuel cut before i hit 5th gear so i let off right away...he stopped messing with me though, looked a little pissed, lol.

I posted pictures before, I guess I should post another from that same time period. Suprahero had his first 1JZ front clip coming, and he told me he would donate the entire body from it, because all he wanted was the motor and related parts. This is what it looked like when it arrived. This picture got me looking for a shell. My motor and all are now in the 92 in my sig, after being swapped to an 89 first.

two wrecks for me, one was my falt for being a jackass and the other was unavoidable because of snow/ice. hit by a lumina on the drivers side and a ram 1500 on the passengers. 45mph zones both times

spray-bombed it for now, i hate the look of primer
