In during I know there are threads out there already regarding it and I looked through them. Who honestly cares... that is like raging at someone who posts a picture of their MKIII Supra painted black and someone posting saying "Uh... its already been posted". There is no harm in wanting to see pictures of wheels on some nice cars. If anything I'd expect you guys to want to take this opportunity to show off your hard work and awesome cars. Not be keyboard warriors.

I Second that, it's redundant to have two threads on the same topic, which clutters and disorganizes the forum.
Cool stories bros. Thats like saying there is already 1 build thread, I don't want to see 60 other build threads. I understand your point but by the pointless posts you guys are making is what would be cluttering it up. If people want to post their wheels then it serves its purpose. If it bothers you so much, go cry to a mod or PM me and stop derailing the thread. These forums are not that insanely fast flowing that 2 threads, about wheels... 1 started maybe a year or two ago are going to destroy the section that they are supposed to be in. I looked through every picture in that thread. Very awesome thread. Now since most people don't go digging I started one to see some newer cars. You guys went out of your way to cry about it... why not do what this section of the forums, and this thread is for... and post your wheels.

The difference in posting your own black car or your own build thread is that it's the only thread about that car or that build. It's unique to that car or that build.
This on the other hand is asking for another tread about wheels on Supras. There's nothing unique about that.
Why does it matter when the other threads were started? They're still being posted to. If someone has wheel pics they're probably already posted to one of those. Why do you think starting a new thread will elicit more pictures?

IBTL, there is harm. Posts and threads take up space and bandwidth, which leads to eventual hardware upgrades. If we have to make 10 pointless posts to deter the next 20 people who want to do this, then it's worth it. When we get new wheels, we'll update the appropiate threads.
Ibtl x2 Pm Supracentral and ask him about harm. He just spent a shitload of his money to upgrade this forum . Talk to the Admins about all the time the spent working out the bugs. It's cool... I don't post much but I certainly search like mad... there were a few problems I had with my car and i would search thru old threads and find other peoples' issues and solved it with their threads. I have the majority of those pics from that thread saved on my computer from when I first joined up here... Awesome thread but it seems to have died down a bit. I saw no harm in starting only a 2nd thread for the newer people who may not have the time of day to dig thru all the old stuff.
As far as the bandwith issue... the majority of this thread taking up bandwith are the butthurt people who felt the need to post... your post was enough... the only people that would matter are the mods. Obviously its not a big deal or this thread would be gone by now... but because people feel the need to be internet vikings and keyboard warriors and get all blah over nothing... I wouldn't be surprised if this thread is useless now anyway. Way I see it... if you don't like it, don't post in it... I personally don't give a shit about people who try and tuck their wheels up as tight as they can... doesn't mean i go storming thru the archives and find other threads that have already existed about it... im well aware
