From what i've been able to determine it's coming from the intake side cam

Anyone heard this before, know whats causing it?
Is it some sort of trapped air it's sucking through a cam journal???

I actually had this on the last engine also, i had assumed it was something to do with my crankwalk but now it's back... I think i have used the same cams, so i'm unsure as to what it is.

Also this only happens on cranking/stopping the engine, as soon as it's running you can't hear it. So either its still there but you can't hear it or it does actually stop.

cam not straight
cam tolerances

were the cams polished?

need more info as to what was done to the head and cams to tell, but it does sound like a squeek from metal on metal...

head was mint, skimmed to mhg tolerances, new seals etc
Reused my cams
The cams did have a little scoring so were polished smooth again.

It would seem as the engine cooled it's not doing it now
