yes but, that was only a part of the problem.

after removing the tranny and playing around with the shifter it was still stuck in forth gear. So, that narrows the problem down to the internals.

Hey Ed's.

Wanna sell me the Bell housing to case bolts? (theres 9 of them)

and a bolt for Inspection plates, and the 4 that hold the shifter on if you have them?

THANKS!
-Sumeet

When i bought the transmission from bert he didn't have them on hand.

Oh man, it's really easy to tell when I post (Ed.T), I'm always going to knitpick my grammar and spelling.

Also didn't want to get into some trouble before we became active members in the SM community, since we're on the same router and it'd look fishy on the multiple accounts rule.

-EDIT-
Full R154, new clutch, new lightened flywheel, and ARP flywheel bolts on on their way. Pics to follow once the parts are gathered.

Welp, we just finished the transfer of a fresh R154/lightened flywheel/clutch/etc etc. into the 2J'd MK3. It's about 5ish in the morning and I'm there's nothing worth looking at as pictures go.

It's going to be interesting when I disassemble the previous R154 to see just what kinda of havoc we've got going on in there. We used a magnet on the oil and a bunch of metal was the result. It's currently locked in state so I can only imagine the exact cause, but I'm sure it had something to do with 'grindage.' I'll start a teardown of it this weekend, I hope.

Big thanks to Robert @ 935 for lending us the tranny stand. Otherwise, I'd be benchpressing the R154 all night until I qualified to become the next Lou Ferrigno, painted green.
